FreeStar's Subsidiary, Rahaxi Processing Oy., Appoints New Sales Director

Position Has Been Created as Part of FreeStar's Continuing Efforts to Increase Sales

HELSINKI, Finland--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 13, 2005--FreeStar Technology Corporation (OTCBB: FSRT - News), a payment processing company, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Rahaxi Processing Oy. (Rahaxi) has appointed Jyrki Matikainen to the position of Sales Director.

Mr. Matikainen brings extensive sales and operational management experience to this new role and joins Rahaxi from Lancro Oy., where he held the position of Senior Vice president. Prior to this, he held senior management positions at Akumiitti Oy. and also at Sonera Smart Trust, where he held the position as Director of Mobile Payment Systems, which entailed working with the co-operation of Visa, MasterCard, and Europay.
